Nel 2021 le statistiche riportavano che la frattura del polso rappresenta circa il 17% di tutte le fratture generali e ben il 75% di tutte le fratture dell’arto superiore.
Con tale percentuale – la frattura di polso – ha il primato di essere la più comune frattura dell’arto superiore prima ancora della frattura della testa omerale.
